To celebrate the summer season, I produced a collaborative campaign video between K-beauty brand Torriden and the popular Korean character Ganadi. The goal of this project was to highlight Torriden’s brand essence—hydration—while naturally showcasing the charm and cuteness of Ganadi.

The campaign consisted of a total of six videos: one full-length version and five product-focused clips. Based on the agency’s initial concept, I reinterpreted the direction with added fun and liveliness. To reflect the feeling of summer, I focused heavily on the background design and character actions. Each Ganadi character was given unique situations and movements related to summer and the featured products to make the video more engaging.

One of the most memorable parts of this project was creating an original song built around the Korean onomatopoeic phrase “chok-chok-chok” In K-beauty culture, “chok-chok” describes skin that is deeply hydrated, dewy, and soft to the touch. It was my first time producing a custom song, and although I was a bit nervous, close collaboration with the producer and music director helped us create a bright, playful track that matched the tone of the animation perfectly.
